Bonus items > After the motorcycles burst out of the huge gift-wrapped package in Level One, move into the opening on the right-hand side of the box. You will find a power-up and ten batarangs inside.
Options select > At the title screen, press up 8 times, down 12 times, left 15 times, right 19 times, Option 1 to skip to the next level. Press Option 2 while the game is paused for invincibility.
Land upside-down > In Mission 6 you are required to fly to airstrips and land. Invert the plane by doing a barrel roll (press Option 2 and left or right) and hold the plane level; you can land upside-down by pressing the joypad up while over an airstrip.

Secret bonus > During Mission 4, where there is a low ceiling and surrounding canyons, you can get a 45,000 point bonus if you kick in your afterburners just after you enter the canyon.
Jump on the pelican > In the surfing event, on your third attempt on the wave, wait until the timer counts down to three seconds then nosedive into the whitewash (at the bottom of the screen). You'll fall off your board and the message "ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?" will appear. The pelican will fly by just as you fall on it from the top of the screen.
Cruise control > Select a 7-speed manual transmission. While holding down Button A (gas), do the follwoing: get up into 6th gear and 179 mph., quickly shift into 7th gear then back into 6th gear (you should now be at 180 mph, if not, shift gears again), release Button A. You will now cruise at maximum speed without sliding off the track.

Mandelbrot / Julia Set Explorer > At the password screen, enter the code MAND. The following options control the operation of the Explorer. Slashes separate button functions on consecutive presses. The zoom window will disappear if no buttons are pressed for three seconds. If the zoom window is on, Buttons A and B will zoom on the first press. The screen will be rebuilt 1:1 immediately after a zoom out.

Secret bonus stage > At the password screen, enter the code TRYX. When the stage begins, activate your Destructor shield and ram through the floor in between the pylons sticking down from the floor. There is only one section where you can do this near the beginning of the level, if you try to force the ship through the floor anywhere else it will self-destruct. Instead, let the shield guide the ship through the floor. Fly thorough the narrow sections and enter the first gate you come upon and you'll be in an unnamed bonus stage where digitized photos of the programmers and developers attack you and you can get all of the weapon options.
Level select > At the beginning of the game, choose a character and stay still. Press Option 1 and you will jump to Level 5; each press of Option 1 will jump you ahead five levels up to Level 20.
Potions > The following is the list of potions and their effects:

Extra lives > To gain five extra lives, first start a normal game and press Pause, Buttons B, B, B, A, A, A, Option 1, Buttons B, B, B, A, A, A, Option 1, and Pause. To gain six extra lives, pause the game, press Option 1, Button B twice, Button A twice, and then unpause the game.
Lightning speed > To speed up your character's movement, pause the game and press Button A twice, Button B, Option 1, Button A twice, Button B, Option 1. A lightning bolt will appear at the top of the screen next to the score. Press Button B for a burst of speed.
Extra lives > Play until you get the high score and register as 330 NE. For as long as that is the high score the game will start with ten extra lives.
Level select > To select any level in the game first press pause twice at the character selection screen. At the newspaper, press and hold Option 1 and press the joypad right or left to select a level.
Secret screen > Press pause twice at the character selection screen and make a selection. Press and hold Option 1 and press the joypad right to select the sixth day, then press pause twice. Hold Option 1 and press the joypad right to select the fifteenth day, then press pause twice. Press and hold Option 1 and Option 2, then press button B to end the game. After the high scores a graphic of the programmer will appear.
Level select > Select Bubble City. Accelerate slowly and steer to the far left or right. Crash into the first tree while holding Button B. Press Option 1 and select your level. Press and hold Button B, then press A. Finish the level and you will skip to the stage you selected.
Secret screen > In Bubble City drive into the first tree on either side of the road while holding Button B to display digitized photos of the programmers. Press Button A to resume.
Floating shield > At any time in the game, throw the shield, and while it is moving press Option 1 and Pause simultaneously to restart the game. When the next game begins, the shield will be positioned just in front of you. It will return to normal the next time the shield is thrown. The shield cannot be used as a method of attack, it is merely an interesting glitch.
Warp > Go to the toilet near the blue office in the second scrapyard. Press the joypad down and a door will appear. Knock on the door to warp to the Forest World.
Bonus > Find the Skweek in the large body of water in the "PAGALAGOS ISLAND" and position yourself over it. Press Option 1 for 3,000 bonus coins.
Extra lives > Find the island directly to the right of the "WELCOME ISLAND" in the upper right corner of the dark blue block and look for the Skweek. Position yourself over it and press Option 1 for two extra lives.
Forbidden islands > Choose a normal game from the option menu, then at the map screen, position Skweek (or Skrutch) over the O in "GARGOUIL LAND" and go down as far as possible. You should see a furball. Position yourself over the furball and press Option 1. You will now be able to go to the forbidden islands.
Passwords > Entering the password 4EB43535 will lock the Lynx up, and nothing else. The exit code for the arcade adventure is 002A64, the alternate exit is 75E9D5 (50E9C8 is the end of the alternate exit).

Secret level > Select the summary and wait for the picture of Todd completely green, then press Option 1. Press Button A and Button B alternately to pop the "zit." This can be played as a multiplayer game.
"Scramble" mode > Before the title screen appears, press and hold up and Option 1 through the entire demo sequence. After the names of the designers fall down, the demo will cycle through colors, a catchy tune will begin, and the pad will allow you to sample digitized Toki sounds. Pressing the pad down and left repeatedly will cause the samples to descend in pitch; conversely, pressing up and right repeatedly will cause the samples to ascend in pitch.
Secret screen > Just before the screen fades to black to display the "CONTINUE" screen, press and hold up and Option 1 for the entire sequence. A white speck will appear at the center of the screen. Repeatedly pressing Buttons A or B will enlarge the speck into a photo of the game's designers.

Extra power > At the beginning of the game select XQ49. On the second boss of the third level, let him kill you once, then finish the level. At the shop buy one of these items: power shot, side shooters, back shooters, auto fire, super shields, or lasers. Everything will be maxed out except mega bombs and lives.
